Forgotten but Unbroken - First Major Patch 1.1.0
Dec 20, 2024Dear Forgotten but Unbroken community!
We are excited to announce the first major update for Forgotten but Unbroken! Thanks to the decreasing number of reported bugs, we were able to focus on the first content update, which changes everything. This update brings a host of new features, difficulty, soundtrack improvements, and fixes designed to enhance your experience and make the game even more engaging.
What’s New:
New Difficulty - Insane: We've added a new Insane difficulty setting for players looking for a greater challenge. Test your skills with tougher enemies, more intense gameplay, and additional events that will occur in your base, making every decision even more crucial.
Steam Achievements: Unlock a variety of new achievements as you progress through the game! Show off your accomplishments and challenge yourself to complete them all.
Soundtrack Available for Purchase: Immerse yourself in the world of Forgotten but Unbroken with our official soundtrack. By purchasing it, you can support the development of the game while enjoying the music anytime.
Skirmish Mode with Daily challenge: For those who prefer quick, action-packed gameplay, we've introduced a standalone skirmish mode with a ranking system. Compete against players around the world and rise through the ranks! Now you can challenge the German elites whenever you want. Maybe even several of them at once...
Insane… On behalf of the development team, we recommend this difficulty to the fiercest and the most skilled of the players. It will test your abilities beyond your limits. Enemy units have been added across the maps. Manual saves are disabled and all you can use is one autosave slot. Your base will be truly tested by a fierce blizzard. Can it be won? Yes, but it will be tough. Very tough... You will start and fail. You will start and fail again, and only when you do everything right and have the right dose of luck, will you have a chance. Yes, luck is also needed. The partisans certainly needed it...
Gameplay changes
- aside from a few missions, you will not be limited by the objective of keeping story characters alive. If a story character falls, they will be pulled out of the battle as if injured.
- new events in the base, such as blizzards, radio interception, and the possibility of injury during expeditions. These are active for the Hard and Insane difficulties.
