  1. Eligibility: The contest is open to legal residents globally, aged 21 or older, or the legal age of majority in their country of residence, whichever is greater. The contest is void where prohibited by law, including but not limited to countries under embargo or sanctions by Australia or other international bodies. Employees of MicroProse Software Pty Ltd, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to enter. The contest is subject to all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.
  2. Agreement to Rules: By entering, the contestant ("You") agree to be bound by these rules and represent that You meet the eligibility requirements. You also accept that all decisions made by MicroProse Software Pty Ltd are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest.
  3. Campaign Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on December 5, 2024 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time and ending on January 31, 2025 1:59 PM Pacific Time. All online entries must be received by the end date to be eligible.
  4. How to Enter: Entries must be submitted via social media per the instructions posted on the MicroProse website and official MicroProse social media channels (X, Instagram). You may only submit one entry per person. Duplicate entries, whether through multiple email addresses or devices, are prohibited and will be disqualified. Entries that do not comply with the rules may be voided at MicroProse's sole discretion.
  5. Prizes: The prize is an original, printed, limited edition Task Force Admiral artwork valued at USD$200. The actual value may differ upon award. No cash alternatives or substitutions will be provided unless at MicroProse's discretion. Prizes are non-transferable, and all federal, state, local taxes and any customs duties are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  6. Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected by a skill-based adjudication process determined by MicroProse Software Pty Ltd. Winner will be announced by January 2, 2025 and will be notified via email or direct messaging on the social media platform opted into the contest. By entering, the contestant (“You”) acknowledges and approves MicroProse to publicly announce the winner’s name via MicroProse social channels or other owned platforms. If the winner cannot be contacted or has not provided their shipping information within 5 business days of being contacted, an alternate winner will be chosen and announced. MicroProse will not be held liable for winner's failure to receive notifications due to spam filters, incorrect contact information, or other issues beyond the company's control.
  7. Prize Distribution: MicroProse shall use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver prizes to winners as soon as is reasonably practicable but within one (1) year of their award. Out-of-date or incorrect winner information may result in forfeiture.
  8. Age of Majority: Participants must be 21 years of age or older or meet the age of majority in their country of residence. MicroProse Software Pty Ltd reserves the right to request proof of age from winners.
  9. Rights Granted by You: By entering the contest, You grant MicroProse Software Pty Ltd, its agents, and affiliates the right to use your name, likeness, and any content submitted for promotional purposes, in any media worldwide, without further compensation or notification, unless prohibited by law.
  10. Disqualification: MicroProse reserves the right to disqualify any participant who is found to tamper with the entry process or violate these terms. Automated entries or entries via bots will also be disqualified.
  11. Worldwide Entry Considerations:
    • This contest is subject to international laws and may be void in countries that require prior legal approval for such activities.
    • Winners are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes related to receiving prizes.
    • The giveaway may not be available in countries where contests are highly regulated, including but not limited to Italy and Brazil.
  12. Time Zones: All deadlines are in Pacific Standard Time (PST). It is the entrant's responsibility to ensure their submission is on time based on their respective time zone.
  13. Privacy Policy: Information submitted by participants is subject to MicroProse Software Pty Ltd’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.microprose.com/privacy/. The data collected will be used for the purposes of the giveaway and may be shared with third-party service providers to administer the contest, as required.
  14. Liability Disclaimer: By entering, You agree to release MicroProse Software Pty Ltd and its affiliates from any claims of liability, including but not limited to injuries, losses, or damages incurred through participation or acceptance of the prize.
  15. Disputes: This contest is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising out of or connected to this contest will be resolved individually in the courts of New South Wales, without regard to any class action waivers. Participants waive the right to claim punitive damages or attorney fees.
  16. Social Media: This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform, including but not limited to X, Tik Tok, Instagram or any other social media platform.
  17. Winners List: The name(s) of the winner(s) and a copy of these Official Rules will be published on the official MicroProse Software Pty Ltd website at www.microprose.com after the contest has concluded.
